USB 2.0 and eSATA Adapter for SATA I and SATA II Hard Drives

Product Review (submitted on February 18, 2023):
Let me preface this review with this small rant: I recently bought a Reolink camera system and wanted to expand the storage on it. The way to do that is either sticking in a larger hard drive or using an external drive connected using an eSATA port. I decided to go with the latter option since I had a few spare 3.5" hard drives available. Now, finding external hard drive enclosures that could both provide an eSATA port *and* power a 3.5" drive were either overkill or overpriced for what would be needed. That's where this comes in. In the depths of a long-winded Amazon search, I stumbled upon this item. It met all the criteria I was looking for:✅can connect to eSATA✅can power 3.5" drives✅absolutely bargain-basement pricedSure, when this item arrived it looked like it had been sitting on a shelf for more than a decade. And to no one's surprise, the hardware apparently dates back to 2006. But for adding additional space for video footage with the least amount of expenditure, this is been an unbeatable item.Sadly, I believe it's safe to assume this item is only going to be sold as new old stock since, as mentioned previously, this is some pretty old hardware. But for the few people that are reading this review and that also own a Reolink NVR (or any other hardware you can find use for), get it while you can. Also, you need to provide your own eSATA cable as that's not provided in the box.
