- Works perfectly as a USB power extension cable.

If you're looking for an extension cable for a USB powered device, look no further. I got a few of these to run power to some USB powered lamps from a little USB power strip. Just tested one and it works perfectly! I like the smoke colored translucent cable look and having it be shielded is a benefit so as to reduce unwanted interference to nearby audio cables. I have not tested how well the shielding works to reduce audio interference, but I'd rather have something shielded as opposed to no shielding at all. Nice feeling rubbery material and the cables themselves are flexible and seem rugged enough for everyday standard usage. I have not used these for data transmission, so my review stops at the ability to transmit power only, but I have no reason to doubt their data carry abilities.
