USB 3.2 Gen 1 Hub for Charging and Data
The new USBGear USBG-BREC304 is a USB 3.2 Gen 1 compact and mountable 4 Port Hub. The hub’s data transfer rates are standard for USB 3.2 Gen 1 at 5Gbps for SuperSpeed streaming information. The USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub is easily transported or can be placed in a stationary position by wall or table top mounting.
The USB 3.2 Gen 1 4-Port hub is housed in a heavy duty extruded aluminum chassis with mounting flanges on either end. It is designed to have excellent heat distribution while in operation in various environments when being used to charge a device at 900mA (follows battery charging specifications 1.2), or to transfer data at USB 3.2 Gen 1 speeds, it is also backward compatible with specifications of USB 2.0 High Speed or, USB 1.1 Low Speed.
Suggested USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub applications may include: Industrial, Medical, Education, Business, Laboratory, and Gaming.

Perfect item in every way--runs efficiently with all slots fully loaded with vintage sha256 block erupters, which means that power delivery is sufficient for them *in particular*. Construction and cabling is of the highest quality. Blue LED running lights inside each slot emit a very pretty ambient light. Well worth the money--I've got three of these hubs!

This charger is what I was looking for. I needed a 4 port USB charger that I could mount to the back of a night stand to charge my phone, watch, etc overnight. This works great for that purpose. The only complaint is that the blue light is surface of the sun bright. It lights up all four ports, the wall behind the nightstand and the wall on the opposite side of the room. Way too bight to serve any real purpose.

Easy to use, easy to install. Wait until Windows 10 is open and not busy before you plug the data cord in. I plugged mine in before start up and windows didn't recognize it. Simply unplugged it, plugged it back in and voila. Works well for desktop !!

The hub has some always-on very bright blue LEDs at each port. They don't seem to serve any purpose, and they make the hub much more visible than it would otherwise be.

I was hesitant to buy this for my needs. It is great if you are going to use a combination of USB devices, but my need was for connecting 3-4 External USB powered WD or Seagate hard drives. I was concerned that the 5v 2a power supply would not be enough to power all of these at once. These are 2TB-5TB external portable drives. I couldn't find the power requirements for them, but once the hub drivers were installed I was able to connect one drive at a time until 4 were connected and was able to even copy between them at near USB3 speeds. I plan on using this for only 2 or 3 connected at the most, so should not have an issue. I have another 7 port USB3 hub with 3 charge ports and it has a 12v power supply with more amperage. If I were going to run 4 drives continuously like this I would use it, but for these needs this is a great hub and I liked I could mount it to my rack.One thing to note, it did take several minutes for Windows 10 and Server 2008 to download and install the drivers. Connect the hub and watch your Systray for the information that it is ready to use before connecting anything to it. I switched USB ports on my computer and it had to reinstall again, so stay consistent.

I used this product as a hub for my computer peripherals on a variable height desk. There is no delay in the inputs at all and easily mounted to the underside of the desk. Would certainly recommend for this use case or any other!

I liked that it has mounts to attach to our RV wall by our couch. I used this for charging only. The blue LED lights are kind of bright at night so it doubles as a night light too.

This is exactly what I was looking for: A metal USB hub with mounting tabs. Had to drill one extra hole (with thread) into the VESA plate, but utilizing one screw that holds the screen, this hub fits perfect to function as a breakout box for USB ports, while the computer itself is hidden. Connects keyboard and mouse, cheap LED stick for backlight.It’s nice and heavy. I love quality metal USB hubs. I will absolutely get another one. Five stars all around!

Bought this to mount under my desk and and charge my phone, iPad
, earphones and battery pack. It looked to be exactly what I needed but I didn’t do the math. Worked perfectly with a phone and headset charging. Then I added the iPad. Things got screwy then and made me think I had a bad cable. Phone would quit charging and then start back a few minutes later. iPad was charging slowly as well. Then I added the battery pack and things got really screwy. Finally did the math and realized that the 900ma supplied to each port and there was not enough wattage to charge all the devices at once. Food if you really need a hub but probably not the best choice if your goal is charging.Value Quality Price - All good!

I wanted to mount a USB3.0 hub on the side of my computer desk, but the last one I purchased (elsewhere) was an anemic dud. Fortunately for humanity, that hub is no longer available.
The Google treasure hunt led me to USBgear, and this hub.
It is made of heavy grade steel; not at all flimsy, and the picture demonstrates how eminently mountable it is. The power supply which comes with the unit is a compact 4 amp rated unit, thereby guaranteed to supply the nominal 900ma to each port. I am unable to determine if the hub is truly bc1.1 or bc1.2 compliant, but it charges the phone quickly, as well as being a USB3.0 hub for those modern flash drives or card readers one may have. I no longer get those humiliating "this device could operate faster" messages when I inserted those devices into the USB2.0 hub.
Equipped with the now-fashionable blue led, this serves as a nightlight in my computer room. One can put a piece of tape on the front side if the light is too bright, yet still casting that spooky blue for each of the USB ports.
This hub has been in service now for about 10 days, and it is performing admirably. I highly recommend this hub for someone who wants a solidly built, wall mountable USB3.0 hub, which will deliver the necessary power that USB3.0 specifies.Quality Price Value
