Purchased this to attach the Singer Professional Sew-Ware v2 embroidery card reader/writer to my Windows 7 computer. Although I was able to install it (using the device manager to search for the drivers on the CD), the embroidery software was not able to find its device. Therefore, I am returning the adapter and purchasing another brand that a reviewer says works with the PSW software and hardware.
